As a neuroradiologist at NYU Langone, my philosophy of care centers on leveraging advanced imaging technologies to enhance patient outcomes. I am passionate about the intersection of clinical practice and research, particularly in the realm of neuroradiology, where I can directly impact patient care through innovative imaging techniques.

I specialize in the clinical use of positron emission tomography-magnetic resonance imaging (PET-MRI) for neuroradiology, focusing on imaging patients with brain tumors, epilepsy, and dementia. With over a decade of experience, I have established myself as an international leader in this field. As the director of PET-MRI for the NYU Department of Radiology, I oversee one of the busiest PET-MRI programs in the United States, performing 40 to 50 studies per week. This program supports more than ten NIH-funded investigations, underscoring our commitment to advancing medical knowledge and patient care.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to translational research, bridging the gap between clinical and MRI research to accelerate improvements in patient care. I have a strong reputation within the NYU Langone medical center and among industry collaborators for rapidly implementing novel imaging technologies into clinical practice. My work in brain mapping, particularly through functional MRI and diffusion tractography, has significantly contributed to preoperative planning for patients with brain tumors or epilepsy.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a deep-seated interest in the brain's complexities and the potential of imaging technologies to revolutionize patient care. I pursued my medical degree and doctorate to combine clinical expertise with research acumen, enabling me to contribute meaningfully to the field of neuroradiology.
