As an anesthesiologist at NYU Langone, I am committed to providing empathetic and comprehensive care to my patients. My approach to care is rooted in understanding and compassion, ensuring that each patient feels acknowledged and valued. I am continually inspired by the evolving nature of medicine and the opportunities it presents to apply new knowledge for optimal patient wellbeing.

I am board-certified in anesthesiology and my expertise lies in managing anesthesia for a broad range of surgical procedures, with a particular emphasis on critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. This includes caring for patients undergoing complex surgeries such as heart, lung, and liver transplants. I have refined my skills in coordinating care across various specialties, ensuring each patient receives the most effective and compassionate care possible.

My interest in medicine was sparked at a young age, influenced by family friends in the medical field. The joy of caring for people, along with the ever-evolving nature of medicine, drew me to this profession. I have been involved in innovative research, including the study of kidney xenotransplantation, which involves transplantation from one species to another. This promising development that could decrease the number of patients waiting for life-saving organs. My role at NYU Langone allows me to work collaboratively, ensuring coordinated and seamless care for my patients.

Throughout my career, I have prioritized proactive engagement in healthcare, consistently working to build trust and rapport with my patients and their families. I believe in empathizing with my patients to better understand their needs and concerns. This approach allows me to customize treatments to each patient’s unique situation, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
