I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in internal medicine at NYU Langone. Healthcare is a second career for me. I was previously in the business world, and although I enjoyed my career, I came to realize I wanted to do more for the community and help others in a more meaningful way. The chain of events leading to that decision started when one of my family members was diagnosed with a serious illness. It was through that experience that I reevaluated my goals and decided to become a nurse practitioner. I chose to work in primary care to help patients in the most impactful way, by providing the broadest services to the widest range of patients.

I am passionate about caring for my patients. I provide them with the same level of care that I would want for each member of my family—delivering evidence-based and compassionate patient-centered care. I enjoy forming long-term relationships with my patients and being there for them as they go through life’s journey. I consider it a privilege to care for my patients.

I am a strong advocate for proactive engagement in healthcare, encouraging my patients to take preventive measures such as having regular check-ups, getting recommended vaccinations and health screenings, and leading a healthy lifestyle. Besides diagnosing, treating, and managing chronic and acute medical conditions, I also conduct physical exams, pre-surgical visits, and travel health visits. As a primary care provider, it is my goal to be the first point of contact for my patients when health-related issues arise.

I hold a master of science in nursing from Columbia University, and bachelor's degrees from both Columbia University and New York University. In addition to several years of experience working as a clinician, I have contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Hunter College in the Adult Nurse Practitioner Program. I have also published research on nurse bullying, focusing on its resolution. I am a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and serve on the board of the Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. My fluency in Italian allows me to connect with a wider range of patients, enhancing my ability to provide inclusive and empathetic care.
